Doula support still available throughout Covid 19
It’s even more important to feel the support of someone that can help you negotiate our ever changing maternity system throughout this time

Are you looking for extra support for yourself and your birth partner on the day you give birth?
Are you looking for Postnatal support for those first few weeks to adjust to motherhood

Do you want to feel supported, cared for and calm during your birth?
Having a doula by your side during birth assists in maintaining a sense of calm in the birthing space.

Thinking about birth and the support you want can often feel overwhelming-Is my birth partner going to be ok?
Are they actually going to be able to support me or will I end up supporting them?
Is my care provider going to listen to my needs?

Many questions like this can keep you awake at night as a pregnant woman.

A companion on your birthing day can alleviate these worries and concerns.

I am another person in your birthing space, who will encourage, support and sustain both you and your birthing partner - on your incredible day.

Imagine going into your birth only focussing on you and your baby- quite often as women we often worry too much about everyone else’s’ emotional state.
This is NOT something for you to do in your birthing space.

Here’s what some of my Doula Clients said

Initially I had concerns about having someone that I never met before at my birth.

But after chatting with Amelia she made me feel relaxed, I believed she would support both my partner and I on the day we met our baby. We learnt so much about birth and labour from Amelia and the relaxation MP3s helped me a lot as I am quite an anxious person.

I chatted with Amelia throughout my early labour and she then met me at the hospital As soon I as got to hospital she was there on my side holding my hand and supporting my partner to help me.

My birth took many hours with tears, pain and all my strength Amelia was there every single second giving me and my partner never ending support. I wouldn’t have gotten through my birth without her- it was an incredible experience to have this extra support and I know our experience would have felt very different if she wasn’t by our side.

I’ve trained with Angela Gallo’s Dynamo Doula program and the We Birth Mentorship programs, Spinning Babies, Dr Sarah Wickham and many other academic birth professionals focussing on women centred care.
